    Power Tip™ is committed to protecting your privacy. We collect only what we need to run the app, and we never sell your data.

Power Tip™ is an Australian sports tipping application available on iOS, Android, and web. For privacy enquiries, contact us at support@powertip.com.au.

2. What Data We Collect

When you create an account and use Power Tip™, we collect:

Your name and email address (via Google, Facebook, Apple, or email sign-in)
Your display name chosen within the app
Your tips, Power Ratings, and scores each round
Your league memberships and standings
Basic device and usage information collected automatically by Firebase

3. How We Collect It

Data is collected through:

Firebase Authentication — for secure account login via Google, Facebook, Apple, or email
Cloud Firestore — to store your tips, scores, and league data
Google AdSense — which may collect anonymised data to serve relevant ads on our website

4. How We Use Your Data

We use your data solely to:

Operate your account and authenticate your login
Display your tips, scores, and league standings
Enable competition between members in leagues
Improve app performance and fix bugs

5. Third Parties

We use the following third-party services, each with their own privacy policies:

Google Firebase — authentication and data storage (Firebase Privacy)
Google AdSense — advertising on our website (Google Privacy Policy)
Meta (Facebook) — optional sign-in method (Meta Privacy Policy)
Apple — optional sign-in method (Apple Privacy Policy)

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with any other third parties.

6. Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, your personal data and associated records will be permanently removed from our systems. Some aggregated, non-identifiable data (such as historical round scores) may be retained for statistical purposes.

7. Your Rights

You have the right to:

Access the personal data we hold about you
Request correction of inaccurate data
Request deletion of your account and all associated data
Withdraw consent for data collection at any time by deleting your account

8. Children's Privacy

Power Tip™ is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with their data, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

9. Security

We take reasonable steps to protect your data using industry-standard security practices, including Firebase's built-in security rules and encrypted data transmission.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify users of significant changes via the app or email. Continued use of Power Tip™ after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
