Here's what makes Power Tip™ different from every other tipping competition your venue has run before.

Power Ratings

Every game in the round gets a unique rating from each tipper — from 1 up to the number of games that week. The higher the rating, the more points you earn if correct. Each rating can only be used once per round.

The Power Tip™

Once per round, each member plays their Power Tip — a minimum of 10 points, with the exact value depending on the sport. It's the highest value pick available and forces members to back their best call with something real on the line.

Power Round

Once per season, each member can activate their Power Round — every score in that round is doubled. Timing is everything. A well-placed Power Round can swing the entire ladder in one weekend.

Is Power Tip™ free for venues? ▾
Yes — Power Tip™ is completely free for venues and free for members to join. There are no setup fees, no per-member charges, and no subscription. We may introduce optional premium features in the future, but any paid tier will be announced in advance and the core competition will stay free.
How do members join our venue league? ▾
Once your Venue Power League is created, we'll send you a unique join code. Members download the free Power Tip™ app (iOS or Android), create an account, enter your join code, and they're added to your private league instantly. Post the code on a chalkboard, share it on social — however works for your crowd.
How does the TV leaderboard work? ▾
Each league has a dedicated web URL showing the live leaderboard. Open it in any browser on any screen — a wall-mounted TV via a Chromecast or HDMI stick, a tablet on the bar, a laptop at the counter. The page auto-refreshes so standings update in real time as game results come in.
Can we run multiple sports at once? ▾
Yes. Power Tip™ supports AFL, NRL, NRLW, AFLW, NFL and EPL. You can register your venue for one sport or multiple — each sport runs a separate, independent ladder within your Venue Power League. Members can participate in as many or as few sports as they want.
How do members get reminded to submit their tips? ▾
Members who allow push notifications receive automatic tip reminders before the tipping deadline — by default 24 hours and 2 hours before the first game of the round. Members can customise their reminder timing per sport inside the app. Tips lock automatically when the first game of the round kicks off, so late entries are not accepted.
